Casimir D. Bator, 83, of Bristol, husband of Linda Graicerstein, died on Friday (July 9, 2010) at home.  Casey was born in Burlington on January 7, 1927 and was a son of the late Joseph and Anna Bator and step-son of the late Lottie Bator. A long time Bristol resident, he served in the United States Navy during World War II where he served in the Central Pacific.  After his discharge from the Navy, he joined the United States Army where he served a distinguished 20 year career which included service in Korea, retiring in 1968.  He received numerous service awards including three battle stars and he was an avid golfer. In addition to his wife, Casey leaves a son, Scott of Vermont, a daughter, Holly of New York; a brother, Stephen Bator, three sisters, Dorothy Winchell, Annie Erickson, and Rose Bator, and several nieces, nephews, great nieces, and great nephews.  Funeral is private.  There are no calling hours.  He will be laid to rest in Arlington National Cemetery, Arlington, VA.  .  Funk Funeral Home, 35 Bellevue Ave., Bristol, is in care of arrangements.  Please visit Casey’s memorial web-site at www.FunkFuneralHome.com.
