Survived By: In addition to her husband Barry, Joanne is survived by her beloved three children, Elizabeth and husband Tony Marcantonio of Bristol, Kristine and husband James Brault of Plantsville, and Steven and wife Tracy Renaud of Canton; and the great joy of her life, her eight grandchildren, Justin, Andrew, Nicholas, and Matthew Marcantonio, Sydney and Jason Brault, and Joshua and Rachel Renaud; and several nieces and nephews. She also leaves a brother, Jake Estes of Venice, FL and a predeceased sister Kathleen Curtis.

Joanne M. (Estes) Renaud, of Bristol, loving wife of Barry G. Renaud, passed away Thursday, July 29, 2010 with her family at her side after a long struggle with Alzheimer’s disease. Joanne born in Fall River, MA on July 3, 1935 and was a daughter of the late Carleton and Naomi (Bishop) Estes. She was an active member of the Grace Baptist Church, Bristol serving as Deaconess and Sunday School Teacher. She was also a member of the Valley Christian Women’s Association. She worked part time for Stop and Shop in Bristol retiring in 1977. In addition to her husband Barry, Joanne is survived by her beloved three children, Elizabeth and husband Tony Marcantonio of Bristol, Kristine and husband James Brault of Plantsville, and Steven and wife Tracy Renaud of Canton; and the great joy of her life, her eight grandchildren, Justin, Andrew, Nicholas, and Matthew Marcantonio, Sydney and Jason Brault, and Joshua and Rachel Renaud; and several nieces and nephews. She also leaves a brother, Jake Estes of Venice, FL and a predeceased sister Kathleen Curtis. The family especially wishes to thank the staff at ARC for all their love and compassion. A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, August 3, 2010, 11:00 a.m. at the Grace Baptist Church, Bristol.
